Mon..Northern portion, S wind 30 kt...easing to 15 kt in the morning, then...veering to W in the afternoon. Synopsis for the southern oregon coastal waters..Expect scattered showers and dominant fresh swell today. Southwest winds will increase to near gale force with another front tonight into Monday morning. Moderate swell-dominated seas follow Monday into Tuesday. A thermal trough will develop Tuesday afternoon with gusty north winds and steep wind-driven seas peaking late Wednesday, but persisting into Thursday night. The thermal trough will weaken late in the week.
